What we're looking for

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions.
  • Good proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
  • Ability to work with precision and attention to detail

Nice to have

  • Experience in using ERP, Business Central would be positively valued
  • A fluent level of English would be positively valued (not indispensable)

What you'll get

  • Permanent contract
  • Salary between €35,000 and €40,000 gross per year + variable
  • Location: Madrid Center (Paseo de la Castellana)
  • Schedule from 09:00h to 18:30h Monday to Thursday, Friday intensive working day until 14:00/14:30h

The role

The Financial Controller position is oriented towards guaranteeing financial control and the correct economic management of our client. We are looking for a professional with experience in accounting and finance to work in Madrid.

  • Company belonging to the recreational sector located in the heart of Madrid center.

What you'll do

  • Supervise and analyze the company's financial statements
  • Manage accounts payable, reconciliations, payments, etc.
  • Coordinate the monthly and annual accounting close
  • Guarantee compliance with current tax and accounting regulations
  • Management of the company's Treasury
  • Manage budgets and perform variance analysis
  • Optimize internal financial processes
  • Collaborate with external auditors in annual audits
  • Provide detailed financial reports to management
  • Supervise cost control and propose improvements
