The person will be responsible for:

Strategic and Business Management

• Defining the asset's strategic plan and ensuring its execution.
• Identifying and developing growth opportunities (national and international MICE, B2B, institutional events, cultural programming).
• Maximizing profitability through efficient management of revenue, costs, and space utilization.
• Analyzing results, KPIs, and performance metrics.

Commercial Management

• Driving the acquisition of conferences, fairs, and national and international events.
• Supporting the activity of the MICE commercial team.
• Developing strategic alliances with key organizers, associations, companies, and clients.
• Boosting the commercialization of spaces and their positioning in new event formats.

Operational and Event Management

• Directly supervising the organization, coordination, and execution of events.
• Ensuring operational excellence in technical, audiovisual, catering, security, and maintenance services.
• Coordinating the activity of external suppliers and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and security standards.
• Overseeing the proper condition and maintenance of the facilities.

Financial Management

• Preparing and managing the annual budget.
• Controlling costs, margins, and profitability per event and per business line.
• Measuring operational and customer satisfaction results.

Institutional Representation

• Acting as the main institutional representative of the asset.
• Managing relationships with public administrations, organizations, industry associations, and major clients.
• Navigating environments with a high political and institutional component with confidence.

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

• University degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; a postgraduate degree in event management, venue management, MBA, or commercial management is valued.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in management or directorial positions within MICE environments, large conference hotels, event venues, or OPC agencies.
• Demonstrable track record in attracting national and international events and managing institutional and corporate clients.
• Experience in budget management, cost control, and business profitability.
• Solid knowledge of the MICE market, space commercialization, and industry trends.
• Ability to lead operational event management and coordinate external suppliers (technical, security, maintenance, services).
• A high level of English is essential; other languages are valued.
• A profile with approachable leadership, results orientation, autonomy, empathy, and the ability to thrive in institutional and political environments.
