The role

Important company in the Real Estate sector is looking for a Finance Manager based in Madrid. The ideal candidate will have between 7-10 years of experience within a finance department. Previous experience in Big4 is highly valued. A high level of English is essential. A high level of Portuguese is valued. Experience managing teams is essential. Working system: 1 day of remote work.

What you'll do

Reporting to the CFO, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following functions;

Supervise the complete accounting cycle and guarantee the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations by coordinating external audits and managing the relationship with advisors.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, identifying deviations and proposing improvement actions.
Lead financial planning processes, annual budgeting, and financial projections.
Supervise the financial performance of national and international projects, analyzing profitability, costs, and margins.
Prepare management reports and dashboards for senior management in order to facilitate decision-making.
Control budget execution and supervise financial indicators (KPIs).
Coordinate treasury management and cash flow forecasting, optimizing the company's liquidity.
Driving improvements in financial, accounting, and internal control processes.
Coordinating and developing the Finance and Administration team.
Manage debt.
Make capital calls to investment partners and attend to financial inquiries from investors.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Between 7 and 10 years of experience in finance positions, with at least 3 to 5 years as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or Accounting Manager.
Solid knowledge of financial accounting, monthly/annual closing processes, and preparation of financial statements.
Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Strong analytical skills and a business-oriented mindset.
Experience in preparing management reports and performing profitability analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (Business Central).
High level of proficiency in English and knowledge of Portuguese is valued.
Experience managing teams.
Previous experience in Big4 is highly valued.
