Head of New Business / Managing Director (WEEE)

Responsible for originating, structuring, and executing growth opportunities for an investment platform focused on WEEE and electronic waste management.The role combines commercial leadership, investment judgement, and strategic execution, with a strong external focus on deal origination, partnerships, M&A, and new market entry, and (at Managing Director level) full P&L and platform leadership responsibility.

Originate and lead M&A, platform build‑ups, brownfield and greenfield opportunities across WEEE, e‑waste recycling, metals recovery, battery recycling, and related circular economy assets.

Define and execute platform growth strategy across Spain and value chain segments.

Assess Spanish market based on regulation, feedstock availability, pricing dynamics, and competitive landscape.

Ensure strong alignment with WEEE directives, national e‑waste regulations, environmental permits and ESG frameworks.

Own and drive long‑term strategic plan.

Lead post‑acquisition integration and value creation initiatives.

Leadership role in a high‑growth, regulation‑driven and impact‑relevant sector.

Significant influence over capital allocation, strategy and asset build‑up.

Direct exposure to board‑level decision making.

PanEuropean Investment Platform

20+ years of experience in one or more of:

• Waste management / environmental services
• Infrastructure or energy transition investing
• Circular economy, recycling or industrial processing
• Corporate development or strategy

Strong track record in origination and execution of complex transactions.

Deep understanding and background within WEEE / e‑waste economics, regulatory drivers, and operational realities.

Experience working with institutional investors, boards and investment committees.

Highly commercial with strong strategic and financial acumen.

Credible senior presence with ability to engage C‑suite, investors and regulators.

Comfortable operating in entrepreneurial, fast‑scaling platforms.

Strong negotiation skills and sound investment judgement.

International mindset; fluent English required (additional languages a plus).
