Payroll Expert - SAP - Renewable Energy Sector

Start date in September at a growing company, currently in the process of expanding the HR department.

The selected person will be responsible for managing and supervising the comprehensive payroll process, ensuring the correct application of labor, Social Security, and tax regulations, as well as the quality and reliability of salary and personnel information.

Our client is a multinational company in the Renewable Energy sector.

• Comprehensively manage the monthly payroll cycle for a workforce of approximately 1,500 employees, guaranteeing its correct execution in a timely and proper manner.
• Perform the calculation, review, and validation of payrolls, including salary concepts, variables, incidents, benefits, deductions, and other remuneration concepts.
• Manage and review processes related to Social Security contributions, ensuring compliance with legal obligations and the correct application of contribution bases and rates.
• Manage the tax obligations linked to payroll, including IRPF (income tax) withholdings and the corresponding declarations and settlements.
• Correctly apply the various collective agreements and labor regulations to the groups of employees under their responsibility.
• Manage and review payroll incidents, analyzing their causes and coordinating their resolution with the corresponding internal and external teams.
• Perform payroll controls and reconciliations, identifying possible deviations, errors, or inconsistencies in the data.
• Prepare reports and analyses related to labor costs, payroll, Social Security, and other personnel administration indicators.
• Use SAP as a management tool and advanced Excel for the processing, analysis, reconciliation, and exploitation of information.
• Collaborate with other Human Resources and Finance teams, as well as external providers, to guarantee the correct management of Payroll processes.
• Attend to and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll, taxation, contributions, and other aspects of personnel administration.
• Participate in internal and external audits, providing the necessary documentation and information.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and automation, proposing initiatives that allow for optimizing processes, reducing errors, and improving data efficiency and quality.
• Stay updated regarding legislative and regulatory changes that may affect payroll, Social Security, and taxation management.

• Previous experience of between 7 and 10 years in similar positions in multinationals
• It is essential to have managed a large volume of payrolls (1,500)

• Previous experience in organizations of a certain complexity, managing volumes of at least 1,500 employees and working with different collective agreements, which has allowed for the acquisition of a broad vision of personnel administration and payroll management.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with SAP is essential.
• High analytical capacity, sensitivity to data, orientation toward detail, and the ability to identify incidents, analyze information, and propose process improvements.
• High level of English, spoken and written.
