Sustainability, Environment and ESG Manager

An important industrial multinational company is looking to hire a Sustainability, Environment and ESG Manager for its plant in Guadalajara. The position will have a strategic role within the organization, leading sustainability, decarbonization, energy efficiency, and ESG reporting initiatives, in coordination with international corporate teams and different areas of the plant.

• Lead the sustainability and ESG strategy of the plant.
• Develop and maintain Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) of products.
• Manage the calculation, recording, and monitoring of the Carbon Footprint.
• Coordinate the preparation of Environmental Product Declarations (EPD).
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of environmental and energy management systems, including the future ISO 50001 certification.
• Prepare sustainability reports and statements aligned with GRI and/or ESRS standards.
• Manage corporate reporting regarding sustainability.
• Coordinate environmental and corporate social responsibility initiatives through multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
• Provide support in document management and the monitoring of aspects related to Occupational Health and Safety.

• Important multinational industrial company.
• Location in Guadalajara.

• University degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 3/5 years of experience in positions related to Sustainability, Environment, or ESG within industrial environments.
• Experience in:
• Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
• Carbon Footprint calculation and management.
• Environmental Product Declarations (EPD).
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and ESG standards.
• Experience in management systems based on ISO standards.
• B1-B2 English level for reporting and communication with international teams.
• Valuable experience in the preparation of GRI/ESRS sustainability reports and the implementation of ISO 50001.
• We are looking for a methodical, analytical, and autonomous person, with coordination skills and accustomed to working transversally with different departments.
