The main mission of the Sustainability Technician is to support the management of the Sustainability and Management Systems Department, in accordance with previously established procedures and lines of action, in order to develop the projects defined in the area within the scope of Sustainability.
Among the main functions, we highlight:
- Schedule and coordinate with the rest of the Company's Departments the activities for the implementation and/or renewal of the EMAS and ISO 14001 management systems and other possible certifications such as B Corp and the Validation of the company's MA and EINF Statements.
- Participate and assist in all environmental audits and verifications.
- Participate in the organization of environmental training actions.
- Interrelate with the various departments of the Environmental Administration.
- Participate in other projects assigned to them related to sustainability.
- Follow up on assigned tasks until their definitive execution within their own Department or others.
- Assist in the organization of Events outside of PortAventura World.
- Carry out environmental records, verify data and records of the members of the Equip Verd.
- Help in the organization of all operations for the implementation of ISO 14001 and EMAS in new locations.
- Monitor environmental KPIs.
- Help in the development of the necessary environmental programs.
- Prepare reports, graphics and other documents, as well as the management of the documentation archive.
- Keep the database of environmental service providers up to date.
- Contact clients and suppliers according to needs.
- Organize and control supplier access and necessary documentation.
- Non-Conformity Management
- Assist in obtaining administrative licenses.
- Help maintain the registration and filing management of all general company procedures
- Document, record and keep up to date environmental objectives, corrective actions and non-conformities.
