From the Quirónsalud private hospitals in Madrid, we are looking for a Medical Record Clerk for the Next Oncology area of the Hospital Universitario Quirónsalud Madrid located in Pozuelo de Alarcón.

What you'll do

You will demonstrate understanding of patient and sponsor confidentiality to protect both the patient and the institution.
You will create and maintain the medical record of each patient, either in electronic format or on paper, as necessary.
You will collect patient records from various sources (mail, fax, email, etc.) following HIPAA guidelines, which requires interacting professionally with registration areas and/or medical offices.
You will scan and attach medical records into the electronic health record system in accordance with regulations.
You will keep the institution's healthcare providers informed by communicating the availability or unavailability of records.
You will manage requests for medical records and the disclosure of information related to patient care, ensuring that all deliveries comply with HIPAA standards.
You will assist in the purging of deceased or inactive patient records according to the established schedule and regulations.
You will manage various Sponsor Platforms.
You will stay up to date with all required training.
You will perform other assigned duties.
