We are looking to incorporate a Financial Technician to join the Financial team of Redeia Corporación.

What you'll do

To guarantee the necessary resources for the group, carrying out financing operations, prospecting, and risk hedging:

  • To analyze short and long-term financial needs and to analyze, select, and contract the necessary financial instruments and volumes to meet the established plan.
  • To analyze existing financing alternatives by instrument, entity, and tax effects, and to select financial entities.
  • To analyze and monitor the financial operations carried out by the company, preparing internal and external reports and documentation that faithfully reflect the operations carried out.
  • To perform the analysis, evaluation, and monitoring of financial risks, identifying and analyzing factors that may be relevant to achieving the planned financial objectives.
  • To prepare documentation: obtaining internal authorizations, contracting, and closing the operation.
  • To prepare periodic external reporting (updates per CNMV, USPP, ECPs, Eurobonds, BV, etc. requirements) and internal reporting, and to maintain financial and accounting systems and control financial expenses.
  • To participate in the negotiation and preparation of contracts for any chosen financial structure.
  • To develop simulation models with different variables to aid decision-making when establishing an optimal financial structure (fixed/variable rate ratio, terms, margins, etc.).
  • To load and maintain financial instruments and results in the Group's budget applications.
  • To coordinate relations and communications with rating agencies, in order to achieve an adequate assessment of credit risk.

Education and Technical Skills

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis and accounting.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and standards, as well as accounting regulations regarding financial operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in office tools (especially Excel) and financial management/ERP systems.
  • Skills in using financial systems and technologies.
  • Valuable: postgraduate education in corporate finance.
  • Knowledge of the SAP environment will be valued.

Experience

  • Previous experience in financial-economic functions, between 5 and 8 years.
  • Experience in various areas will be positively valued: consulting, accounting, financial/accounting regulation, financial operations, etc.

Languages

  • Upper-intermediate English level, minimum B2.
