What we're looking for

That you hold a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or similar disciplines. We will positively value if you have completed an MBA, Master's, or specialized postgraduate training in Finance.
Your proven experience of at least 8 years in origination, structuring, and execution of complex financing operations, acquired in national or international banks, financial advisory firms, debt funds, insurance companies, or institutional investors, with exposure to Debt Advisory, Structured Finance, Leveraged Finance, Acquisition Finance, Asset-Based Lending (ABL), securitizations, and other asset-backed financing solutions.
Your mastery of advanced financial modeling and cash flow analysis.
Knowledge of financial documentation and complex debt structures.
That you bring a good level of English that allows you to move fluently in international environments.
That you are a profile that combines strategic vision, high analytical capacity, and commercial orientation, standing out for your initiative, capacity for influence and negotiation, as well as for a solid orientation toward results and business development.

At this time, we are looking to recruit in Madrid our future Structured Debt Solutions - Senior Vice President, to drive the growth of our advisory and structuring capacity for complex financing solutions within the Corporate & Investment Banking area.

What you will do in your day-to-day...

Your main mission will be to originate, structure, and execute financing solutions for corporate clients, with a special focus on alternative debt operations, asset-backed financing, and Inventory Finance, working in a coordinated manner with the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) teams and other specialized areas of the Bank.

The position will contribute to positioning Banco Sabadell as a benchmark entity in structured finance and alternative capital solutions, accompanying companies in defining their financing strategies and in the execution of complex operations adapted to their needs.

What you'll do

You will advise corporate clients in the definition of their financing strategy, analyzing their liquidity needs, capital structure, and growth objectives.
You will originate and develop business opportunities related to structured financing solutions and alternatives to traditional bank financing.
You will structure asset-backed financing operations, including Asset-Based Lending (ABL), inventory financing, contract monetization, and financing for industrial assets, infrastructure, and fleets.
You will design Receivables Finance, Structured Factoring, and Supply Chain Finance solutions adapted to the specific needs of each client.
You will analyze underlying assets, cash flows, and risk mitigation mechanisms to ensure the viability and sustainability of the proposed structures.
You will prepare and supervise complex financial models that allow for the evaluation and structuring of different financing alternatives.
You will participate in the structuring and execution of debt market operations, including corporate bonds, private placements, Schuldschein, unitranche, securitizations, and hybrid financing.
You will maintain relationships with institutional investors, private debt funds, and other capital providers, identifying alternative solutions for clients.
You will prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial materials for clients and potential clients.
You will coordinate the execution of operations together with the DCM, Risk, Legal, and other involved areas.
You will monitor the pipeline of opportunities, ensuring the progress and closing of identified operations.
You will contribute to business development and to the positioning of the Bank as a trusted advisor in structured financing solutions.
