The role

What you'll do

Act as Health and Safety Coordinator during the execution phase.
Supervise the correct application of the Health and Safety Plan.
Perform periodic site visits and preventive monitoring.
Coordinate business activities (CAE).
Draft monitoring reports and coordination minutes.
Provide technical advice to the Project Management and the Developer regarding prevention matters.
Identify risks and propose corrective measures.
Documentary control and verification of regulatory compliance.

Job description

At SOCOTEC Spain, a leading company in engineering, technical control, and quality assurance, we are looking to hire a Health and Safety Coordinator for civil engineering and building projects.

If you are motivated by working on high-level technical projects, with autonomy and real responsibility on site, and you are an architect or engineer, we want to meet you.

What will your mission be?

Guarantee compliance with health and safety regulations during the execution phase, coordinating the various intervening agents and ensuring the correct implementation of preventive procedures on site.

Requirements

Technical degree (in the case of a foreign degree that is officially recognized in Spain):
- Civil Engineering / Civil Engineering (Ingeniería de Caminos)
- Architecture / Technical Architecture
- Building Engineering
- Industrial Engineering or similar
Master's in Occupational Risk Prevention or Higher Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention, at least in the specialty of Occupational Safety.
Experience as a health and safety coordinator in construction works in Spain; 20 years
Registered in the registry of coordinators of the Community of Madrid, with a minimum seniority of 3 years.
Valid B driver's license.
Availability for occasional travel.
