Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Engineering related to building installations.
Minimum experience of 3-4 years in the design and development of MEP projects.
Consolidated technical knowledge in building installations.
Specific experience in HVAC, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
Ability to develop and calculate plumbing, sanitation, fire protection, and electrical installations.
Autonomy to manage projects technically.
Proficiency in design and installation calculation tools, especially:
- CYPE
- Revit MEP
- CYPE HVAC / CYPE HBPLUS-PRO
Ability to coordinate with other disciplines.

Nice to have

B2 level of English.
Experience in building projects of a certain complexity.
Valid B driver's license.
Availability to undertake occasional travel.

The role

SOCOTEC Spain is looking to hire 1 MEP Engineer specialized in HVAC to reinforce our building team, with priority for joining in Madrid.

We are looking for professionals with experience in the design and development of building installation projects, especially in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and with solid knowledge in the rest of the MEP disciplines.

The position is oriented towards profiles with consolidated technical knowledge and the ability to work autonomously in the development and calculation of installations.

What you'll do

Design and develop MEP installation projects in the building sector.
Develop and calculate heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) installations.
Design and calculate installations for:
- Plumbing and water supply.
- Fire Protection (PCI).
- Sanitation and wastewater disposal.
Perform calculations and sizing of installations.
Prepare technical documentation associated with the projects.
Manage projects technically with autonomy.
Coordinate the different MEP disciplines and collaborate with the rest of the teams involved in the project.
Participate in the monitoring and technical development of projects from the design phase.

How you'll work

Location: Madrid.
Schedule: 9:00 to 18:30 from Monday to Thursday and 9:00 to 15:00 on Fridays.
Modality: hybrid model
Travel: may require occasional travel.
