The role

The People Relations Senior Advisor provides legal-labor support and advice in all labor relations processes for the companies in Spain, acting as a point of reference in the management of conflicts and labor inquiries affecting store, logistics center, and office groups. The position works transversally with the rest of the People areas, especially with Business Partnering and People Operations, providing legal criteria in the resolution of cases, and represents the company before official bodies and before worker representation.
Reports to the People Relations Manager, with whom they maintain direct and constant contact, escalating those matters of greater complexity, sensitivity, or risk to guarantee aligned decision-making and impeccable management of each case.

In your day-to-day

  • Attend to and resolve day-to-day legal-labor inquiries originating from stores, logistics centers, and offices.
  • Provide legal-labor advice to the rest of the areas within the People department on matters related to their field.
  • Work in an active and coordinated manner with the Business Partnering and People Operations teams in the management of conflicts and labor casework, providing the necessary legal criteria for the resolution of each case.
  • Collaborate in the preparation and updating of corporate HR policies, adapting them to the particularities of each group (store, logistics, offices).
  • Participate in the preparation and updating of individual and collective agreements with the RLPT, maintaining fluid contact with worker representation.
  • Lead and accompany negotiation processes regarding labor conflicts, disciplinary proceedings, and terminations, guaranteeing legal compliance and consistency with internal policy.
  • Analyze trends and root causes of labor conflictiveness by network and propose preventive action plans.
  • Escalate cases of greater severity, legal risk, or reputational impact to the People Relations Manager, ensuring a coordinated response consistent with the area's strategy.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience of at least 4 years in similar positions, ideally for the Retail sector.
  • Degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources or Law.
  • Extensive knowledge in Social Security Law, Labor Law, Administrative Law, and Labor Procedural Law.
  • B2 level of English.
