Occupational Risk Prevention Manager

Guarantee the health and safety of workers through the implementation, supervision, and continuous improvement of an occupational risk prevention system that complies with current regulations. Act as a reference in OHS, reporting to the Personnel Administration and OHS management, to prevent occupational accidents and illnesses, fostering a prevention culture at all levels of the company, in both the agricultural and industrial areas.

Functions:

• Prepare and update the Occupational Risk Prevention Plan, adapting it to the particularities of the agricultural and industrial activities.
• Identify, evaluate, and control occupational risks in the different areas of the company.
• Design and implement corrective and preventive measures to mitigate detected risks.
• Perform periodic inspections in the agricultural and industrial facilities to verify compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensure the health surveillance of workers in collaboration with the external or internal medical service.
• Design and execute OHS training and capacity-building programs for all personnel.
• Foster a prevention culture through awareness campaigns and effective communication regarding occupational health and safety.
• Coordinate prevention with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring the correct management of the Coordination of Business Activities (CAE).
• Supervise compliance with the current legal framework and act as an interlocutor with official bodies in the event of inspections or audits.
• Investigate and analyze occupational incidents and accidents, identifying causes and proposing corrective actions to prevent their repetition.
• Implement a continuous improvement system based on the results of internal audits and risk analyses.
• Ensure the integration of OHS into the global management of the company, collaborating with other departments (Production, Quality, Human Resources).
• Support the Integrated Quality Management System of their area, collaborating with the Quality Department or any other area in all those aspects related to internal or external audits that the Surexport Group assumes and/or marks as necessary standards or requirements.
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the company.
• Compliance with and support for the Quality, Environment, Health and Safety, and Corporate Social Responsibility Policies, the Corporate Compliance System, the Policies and accrediting certifications related to Information Security, and the Objectives established by the Organization within their scope of responsibility, ensuring compliance with the guidelines derived from them.

• University studies related to: Engineering, Psychology, Labor Relations, or similar.
• Master's in Occupational Risk Prevention // Vocational Training in Occupational Risk Prevention with the three recognized specialties - Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology.
• Specific knowledge of agricultural, food, and industrial OHS regulations.
• Upper-intermediate level of English (B2). C1 desirable
• IT knowledge: Office suite and desirable knowledge of SAP.
• 5 years of previous experience in a similar position, preferably in the agricultural sector or related fields, with high volume.
• Experience in the implementation of occupational health and safety management systems, internal audits, and coordination of business activities.
• Geographic Mobility.
• - Valid driver's license (B)
