Product Engineering Manager

Do you have experience leading textile projects and are you looking for an industrial environment with international impact?

One of our clients, a company specializing in protection solutions for the automotive sector, is looking to hire a Product Engineering Manager at its Sallent facilities.

What will your mission be? You will be the key figure in the technical coordination of the product area, leading a multidisciplinary team and ensuring process standardization and compliance with customer specifications. The selected person will be in charge of coordinating the product team, including the pattern making, sewing, cutting, and prototype warehouse areas. You will be responsible for defining the product based on the customer's technical specifications and actively participating in design meetings. Additionally, you will lead the unification and standardization of pattern making criteria, as well as the efficient transfer of new projects to the plant. You must maintain the order and cleanliness of the workstation following the 5S methodology and contribute to the continuous improvement of the area.

What do you receive with this process?

The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 17:00h and Fridays from 7:00 to 14:00h.

What do you need to make the match?

We are looking for a person with a minimum of five years of experience in a similar position, with previous experience in the automotive sector being especially valued. Regarding education, Vocational Training in Garment Making or Textile Pattern Making is required, with studies in Textile Engineering being a plus. Fluent command of Spanish and Catalan will be essential, and knowledge of English will be valued. The ideal profile will have leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a demanding technical environment.
