The role

For our HSE Management Systems department, we need to recruit a Management Systems Specialist whose functions will be:

What you'll do

  • To provide technical assistance in the design, implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and improvement of the Corporate Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS), in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 45001 standard, within the HSE Management Systems Department.
  • To design, prepare, review, and record the Occupational Health and Safety Management System documentation in coordination with the involved organizations (for example, the Joint Prevention Service)
  • Collaborate in the proposal, implementation, and monitoring of the OHSMS Occupational Health and Safety objectives.

  • Identify and evaluate the risks and opportunities of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, together with other involved areas, and supervise the actions aimed at controlling, minimizing, or enhancing them.

  • Provide technical assistance to the Head of the HSE Management Systems Department in the OHSMS Management Review process.

  • Organize internal, external, and certification audits of the Corporate Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

  • Monitor the performance of the OHSMS. Identify and evaluate the needs and expectations of workers and other interested parties regarding Health and Safety. Identify the legal requirements and other requirements applicable to the OHSMS, evaluate their compliance, and maintain the corresponding updated record.

  • Implement and maintain the Corporate Environmental Management System in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard.

  • Provide general assistance and support to HSE Management on matters related to the Environmental Management System (EMS).

  • Monitor the performance of the Environmental Management System, collaborating in the identification and monitoring of corrective actions and in the verification of their implementation.

  • Collaborate in the preparation and organization of the Management Review of the HSE Management Systems.

  • Prepare HSE objective proposals and the annual HSE planning.

  • Identify and monitor the indicators necessary to verify compliance with corporate HSE objectives.

  • Identify and evaluate compliance with legal requirements and other requirements applicable to the Environmental Management System.

  • Manage HSE training programs and HSE awareness campaigns.

  • Coordinate and carry out, when appropriate, environmental inspections, as well as the monitoring and closure of the actions derived from them.

  • In relation to consultation and participation processes, respond to all inquiries or suggestions received regarding the Environmental Management System, recording both the inquiries and their responses.

  • Plan, organize, and perform environmental audits at the corporate, project, and site levels.

  • Ensure that all detected deviations are properly recorded, followed up, and closed, collaborating in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions when appropriate.

  • Coordinate the performance of external certification audits of the Environmental Management Systems.

  • Participate and collaborate in the evaluation of HSE opportunities and risks.

  • Identify, evaluate, and record the environmental aspects and impacts derived from the various activities and facilities of TR. Provide technical assistance in waste management for TR offices.
