We are looking for a hybrid profile, with technical, operational, and management capacity, oriented towards the coordination and execution of technological projects in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, tactical communications, private 5G networks, and cloud/edge solutions.

The selected person will participate in the definition and development of use cases, the coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and the integration and validation of new capabilities applied to defense and security. What you'll do

  • Plan and monitor national and European defense innovation projects, defining scope, activities, resources, milestones, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Coordinate the technical and operational contributions of Telefónica in projects related to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, tactical communications, private 5G networks, and cloud/edge services.
  • Participate in the identification and development of artificial intelligence use cases applied to defense and security, including advanced analytics, automation, information processing, decision support, and anomaly detection.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity activities associated with the design, development, and integration of solutions, promoting principles of security by design, information protection, risk management, and system resilience.
  • Translate operational needs and project objectives into technical requirements, work plans, integration activities, and demonstrable capabilities.

Education & certifications

  • Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in the management, coordination, or execution of technological projects, preferably in defense, security, telecommunications, or European programs.
  • Experience in innovation projects, applied research, technological development, or the creation of new capabilities.
  • Knowledge or experience in one of the following areas:
  • Artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, generative AI, data processing, or MLOps.
  • Cybersecurity, risk management, secure architectures, monitoring, threat detection, or network and system protection.
