We are looking for a hybrid profile, with technical, operational, and management capacity, oriented towards the coordination and execution of technological projects in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, tactical communications, private 5G networks, and cloud/edge solutions.

The selected person will participate in the definition and development of use cases, the coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and the integration and validation of new capabilities applied to defense and security. They will play a key role in meeting scope, cost, deadline, and quality objectives, working with internal teams, suppliers, customers, technological partners, and international consortia.

The position will have a primarily executive and operational focus, oriented towards the technical monitoring of projects, the preparation of deliverables, the coordination of tests and demonstrators, and the transfer of developed capabilities toward solutions and product lines.

• Plan and monitor national and European defense innovation projects, defining scope, activities, resources, milestones, deliverables, and schedules.
• Coordinate the technical and operational contributions of Telefónica in projects related to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, tactical communications, private 5G networks, and cloud/edge services.
• Participate in the identification and development of artificial intelligence use cases applied to defense and security, including advanced analytics, automation, information processing, decision support, and anomaly detection.
• Coordinate cybersecurity activities associated with the design, development, and integration of solutions, promoting principles of security by design, information protection, risk management, and system resilience.
• Translate operational needs and project objectives into technical requirements, work plans, integration activities, and demonstrable capabilities.
• Coordinate specialized teams in artificial intelligence, data, cybersecurity, communications, cloud, and defense systems.
• Supervise the development, integration, testing, and validation of prototypes, demonstrators, and new capabilities in representative environments.
• Prepare and review technical and project documentation, including architectures, diagrams, work plans, reports, testing documentation, deliverables, and presentations.
• Control the progress of activities, resources, costs, and planning, identifying deviations and proposing mitigation measures.
• Manage technical, operational, and execution risks, ensuring compliance with project requirements and established quality standards.
• Coordinate functional tests, performance tests, integration activities, demonstrations, and field validations.
• Represent the project in technical meetings, workshops, reviews, tests, and coordination activities with customers, suppliers, and international partners.
• Maintain continuous communication with key stakeholders, providing clear information on progress, dependencies, risks, and next steps.
• Align the capabilities developed in projects with the strategy, technological roadmap, and product lines of Telefónica Defensa y Seguridad.
• Identify technologies, knowledge, and assets generated in projects that can evolve into new solutions or reusable capabilities.
• Perform technological surveillance and trend analysis in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and dual-use technologies applicable to defense and security.
• Support the preparation of new proposals and innovation opportunities, contributing to the definition of use cases, work packages, technical activities, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and facilitate collaboration between technical, management, supplier, customer, and international partner profiles.
• Contribute to minimizing the environmental impact of projects and complying with applicable regulations.
