Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE); degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Organization, or others; degree in Economics or Finance, Statistics and/or Applied Mathematics; degree in Data Science..., or similar.
  • Analytical capacity, methodicalness, and proactivity.
  • Collaborative attitude to work in a team.
  • Communication skills with different profiles and departments.
  • Basic handling of office and project management tools (Office Suite, Visio, Teams, etc.).
  • B2 level of English: oral and written comprehension.

The role

Area description:

The Risk and Insurance area of the Telefónica Group is the unit responsible for financing the Group's insurable risks and for supporting operators in the marketing of insurance products for their customers and employees. The area manages a Non-Life insurance company (TELEFÓNICA SEGUROS), a reinsurance captive (NOVA CASIOPEA RE), and a Brokerage Group (TELEFÓNICA CORREDURIA DE SEGUROS), through which it implements its strategy and policy.

Specifically, Telefónica Seguros is a Non-Life insurance company, whose main product is electronic device insurance. It has insurance programs in Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, and LATAM. The Operations department is responsible for the implementation of new insurance products, management of insurance programs, and processes and integrations with third parties.

Training project integrated into the Operations department of the Insurance area, where you will be able to apply the knowledge acquired in your university studies in a professional environment. You will participate actively in project management, process improvement, digital transformation, and the implementation of technological solutions, with a focus on the insurance business. You will have the possibility to develop skills in project management and process efficiency, operational presentations on processes, control of existing operations, data analysis, and reporting. We will contribute to fostering the generation of ideas and strategic vision, as well as interdepartmental communication within the company and relationships with providers and technical systems personnel.

What you'll do

  • Participate in the preparation of operational and functional presentations regarding the department's processes.
  • Collaborate in the improvement and documentation of operational processes (logistics, claims management, repairer network, procurement..., among others).
  • Participate in digital transformation and automation initiatives using artificial intelligence tools.
  • Prepare technical specifications and business requirements.
  • Prepare project monitoring documentation: meetings, presentations, action plans, summary of decisions taken.
  • Contribute to data analysis and the preparation of operations reports.
  • Support the drafting of terms and conditions for insurance products.
  • Collaborate with technological providers and systems teams.
  • Support the validation of local processes and adaptation to regulations and market realities.
