We connect the present. We transform the future.
Have you ever wondered what makes it possible for millions of people to be connected at the same time, from anywhere in the world, without anything failing?
At Telefónica, we make it possible.
We are a global telecommunications and technology company that connects people, businesses, and communities through next-generation networks and advanced digital solutions such as cloud, artificial intelligence, IoT, and cybersecurity.
With over 100 years of history, we work every day to ensure that innovation serves society, driving a digital transformation that is responsible, sustainable, and has real impact.
Here, we don't just design infrastructure—we design the future. We are looking for people who are curious, enthusiastic, and passionate about what they do, who never settle, and who want to build the Telefónica of tomorrow.
If you are passionate about technology that transforms lives, this is your place.
Being part of this transformation also implies measuring and communicating with rigor our impact on society and the environment and how ESG issues impact the Group's financial performance. This function falls within Telefónica's ESG Reporting area, which is responsible for coordinating the Group's sustainability reporting process. Our team leads compliance with sustainability reporting regulations, coordinating with multiple areas and countries to ensure rigorous, transparent, and high-quality information for regulators and other stakeholders. We work in an international, dynamic, and innovative environment, contributing directly to the company's sustainability strategy.
To develop and complement the knowledge acquired during the training stage through active participation in Telefónica Group's sustainability reporting processes. The intern will collaborate in the preparation of the Sustainability Report, contributing to compliance with European CSRD regulations and ESRS standards, as well as Law 11/2018 at a national level, while gaining practical experience in ESG information management, cross-functional team coordination, and the use of advanced reporting tools in an international corporate environment.
How will you contribute your skills to the purpose of the scholarship? 💼
Support in the preparation of Telefónica's Sustainability Report, management and review of ESG information, coordination with corporate areas, monitoring of the reporting calendar, data analysis in Excel, and support in compliance with CSRD/ESRS regulatory requirements and external verification processes. Collaboration in the adaptation of internal reporting controls to suit the new developments taking place in regulatory matters.
What skills are we looking for in you? 🔎
Remember that the indicated skills must be part of the Telefónica global taxonomy
Academic training or knowledge in corporate sustainability, ESG, non-financial and financial reporting, accounting, auditing, finance, or related areas. Likewise, knowledge of sustainability frameworks and regulations (CSRD, ESRS, GRI) will be valued, as well as analytical capacity, interest in data management, and report preparation in corporate and international environments.
