The role

Are you passionate about authentic hospitality, personalized service, and creating memorable experiences?

At AR Hotels & Resorts, a hotel chain in a full phase of expansion and growth, we are looking to hire a Host Director to lead The Cook Book Gastro Boutique & Spa, an exclusive boutique hotel with 16 rooms, located in a privileged enclave of the Costa Blanca, with an exceptional gastronomic proposal: two high-gastronomy restaurants, one of them distinguished with a Michelin star.

A unique project where luxury is understood through closeness, attention to detail, and excellence in service.

We are looking for much more than a hotel director: an authentic host, capable of conveying the essence of the establishment, inspiring their team, and turning every stay into an unforgettable experience.

What you'll do

You will be the hotel's main host, guaranteeing an exceptional and personalized experience for every guest through hospitality that is close, authentic, and detail-oriented.

Reporting to the Cluster Manager, you will lead the operations and the establishment's team, combining excellence in service with efficient, results-oriented management.

Your mission:

  • Act as the main host of the establishment, offering warm, personalized, and authentic attention, conveying its identity, values, and differentiating proposal.

  • Maintain an active and close presence with guests, anticipating their needs and guaranteeing memorable experiences.

  • Drive a culture of hospitality based on excellence, discretion, and attention to detail.

  • Coordinate and supervise the daily operations of the hotel, guaranteeing the correct functioning of all its departments.

  • Lead the various operational departments of the establishment.

  • Coordinate with the managers of the gastronomic restaurants to offer an integral and coherent experience.

  • Guarantee compliance with quality standards and the perfect condition of the facilities.

  • Lead by example, conveying a passion for hospitality and customer orientation.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment oriented toward excellence.

  • Collaborate with the Cluster Manager in monitoring the establishment's budgets and objectives.

  • Supervise the main hotel management indicators: occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, customer satisfaction, and cost control.

  • Identify opportunities for revenue improvement, resource optimization, and profitability, without compromising service excellence.

  • Contribute to the positioning of the establishment as a benchmark for personalized hospitality and high gastronomy.

Personal competencies

We are looking for a person who stands out especially for:

  • Genuine vocation for service: you enjoy caring for people and creating unique experiences.

  • Host spirit: close, elegant in interaction, empathetic, and with excellent social skills.

  • Inspiring leadership: capable of motivating and developing teams by example.

  • Attention to detail: sensitivity to quality, aesthetics, and the small gestures that make a difference.

  • Ability to anticipate: proactive, resourceful, and with the judgment to make decisions.

  • Business vision: combines a passion for hospitality with efficient, results-oriented management.

  • Gastronomic sensitivity: interest in and knowledge of the world of high gastronomy and exclusive experiences.

  • Flexibility and commitment: availability and ability to adapt to the needs of a unique establishment.
