Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or similar.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in OT systems within the photovoltaic sector.

Experience in design, integration, or commissioning of plant control systems.

Experience with SCADA, PPC, PLC, and industrial protocols such as Modbus, IEC 61850, and OPC UA.

Knowledge of EMS systems and integration with control systems.

Knowledge of Grid Codes and connection of renewable plants to the grid.

High English level, minimum C1. English will be the habitual language.

Experience in Solar + BESS hybrid projects

Nice to have

Experience in United States standards and regulations.

We are looking for an OT Control Systems Engineer (SOLAR PV + BESS) to expand one of our photovoltaic sector teams in Madrid.

Your mission will be to guarantee the correct operation and integration of SCADA, PPC, HPPC, EMS, and communications systems for photovoltaic plants, BESS systems, and hybrid PV + BESS configurations, while also ensuring compliance with cybersecurity requirements and applicable regulations.

What you'll do

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control and communications systems (SCADA, PPC...) for solar photovoltaic power plants and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Participate in bidding processes, defining the technical requirements for SCADA, PPC, and HPPC.

Review communication architectures and control systems during the engineering phase.

Participate in the definition and execution of FAT and SAT testing.

Supervise the integration between SCADA, PPC, HPPC, inverters, batteries, and the rest of the plant equipment.

Coordinate commissioning and startup activities.

Manage the corrective and evolutionary maintenance of OT systems.

How will I do it?

100% remote modality.

Working day adapted to US hours.

Participation mainly in US market projects.

Availability to travel according to project needs, including commissioning phases and on-site support.
