The role

What will your mission be as a PURCHASING TECHNICIAN?

To provide technical assistance to the department in the management of purchases and contracting, in order to provide the organization in a timely and proper manner with the goods and services necessary for its adequate functioning, reducing costs and increasing product quality in order to contribute to the efficient and effective development of the department's processes.

What you'll do

To carry out monitoring and control of the complete process of purchasing operations performed, in addition to performing invoice reconciliation and verifying that payment is made according to the previously agreed conditions, as well as channeling the resolution of conflicts with approved suppliers in the event that these cannot be resolved by the designated persons through ordinary channels.
To receive, analyze, and channel the documentation associated with the purchasing process that is received, executing the actions that result necessary for the process, as well as executing tasks ranging from data entry to information analysis and the generation of reports required by Management, in order to provide assistance and support in managing the compliance of purchases and procurement carried out by the intervening areas, collaborating so that it is developed in a timely and proper manner.
To keep purchasing processes updated and ensure and verify their compliance, in order to guarantee homogeneity in purchasing processes by driving cost savings, guarantee that purchases are being made through the agreed suppliers, and ensure a rational and professional use of the resources made available to employees.
