Maintenance Technician - Hotel HYB Eurocalas

What are the job requirements?

• Minimum education: Compulsory Secondary Education.
• Experience in a similar position (minimum 6 months in a hotel of similar category).
• Knowledge in Electricity, air conditioning, heating and DHW, industrial refrigeration, catering machinery, plumbing, carpentry, sound, networks, etc. is valued.
• Qualification in swimming pool maintenance and Legionella treatment.
• Attention to detail and proactivity.
• Commitment and teamwork.

Gross annual salary between €28,289.00 and €33,303.00, depending on professional experience provided, training, performance, and productivity.

At Garden Hotel Group, we are looking for a maintenance technician to join our Technical Service team at Hotel HYB Eurocalas. Their mission will be to execute all scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance work to keep all equipment assigned to them in optimal operating conditions, in accordance with the quality, time, safety, and aesthetic standards established by the hotel, through the efficient and timely performance of their duties.

What will their functions be?

• Ensure that they have the necessary tools and materials to perform their duties and be responsible for their proper use, as well as for following established procedures and the safety regulations necessary for accident prevention.
• In accordance with the instructions of their immediate supervisor, execute all scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance work according to the quality, time, safety, and aesthetic standards established for each case.
• Perform daily rounds verifying the facilities, taking the corresponding readings and reporting faults to their immediate boss.
• Check the condition and operation of their work equipment to ensure it is optimal and keep the workshop and areas where they carry out their activities in a perfect state of order and cleanliness.
• Maintain close communication with their immediate boss, informing them of the progress of the work performed and of any anomaly or irregularity in the equipment that represents a risk to the efficient operation of the hotel.
• Execute all instructions and tasks assigned to them by their immediate superior, as well as the responsibilities that the position requires.
• It is their responsibility to notify in writing of any incident that remains unresolved at the end of their shift, as well as to review pending incidents at the start of their shift.
