We are hiring a Pharmaceutical/Galenic Development Technician for our injectables plant in Azuqueca de Henares.

The challenge!

• Participate in the pharmaceutical development of conventional and complex sterile injectable products (solutions, suspensions, lyophilized products, peptide formulations, depot, and 505b2).
• Design, execute, and interpret preformulation, formulation, optimization, and process scale-up studies in accordance with GMP regulations.
• Perform experimental and characterization activities related to compatibility, solubility, dissolution, sterilization, lyophilization, and stability of formulations.
• Develop, document, and transfer manufacturing processes to GMP scale, collaborating on validations and production support.
• Manage and analyze experimental data, draft technical documentation (protocols, reports, SOPs, and batch records), and ensure regulatory and ICH compliance.
• Participate in the selection of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables for development and manufacturing.
• Operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation, ensuring its correct use and GMP compliance.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Production, QA, QC, Regulatory Affairs, and other involved departments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procedures, tools, and development methodologies based on QbD.
• Ensure the monitoring and ownership of assigned projects until their completion.

• Education: Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or similar. A master's degree in pharmaceutical industry and development will be a plus.
• Languages: Good oral level of English or fluent level and very good written communication skills. Proficiency in Spanish will be positively valued.
• Experience (years/area): At least 2-3 years of experience in the development of complex injectable formulations (NDDS) and process development in the pharmaceutical industry and in a GMP environment are required. Experience in the pharmaceutical development of 505b2 and NCE sterile formulations will be valued.
• Travel: Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
• Personal skills: Proactive, creative person with good problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively with multidisciplinary and external teams. High sense of responsibility regarding assigned tasks.
