Marketing Automation Specialist

• Supervise and provide technical guidance to developers involved in Salesforce Marketing Cloud subscription management, ensuring best practices are followed and deliverables meet business requirements. Act as a backup for development tasks when needed.

• Design, build, and optimize marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

• Develop and manage customer journeys, segmentation strategies, and personalized communications.

• Implement AMPscript, SQL, and SSJS for dynamic content and data processing.

• Maintain and enhance our API, ensuring high performance, flexibility and security.

• Develop and manage API integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless functionality.

• Code review and QA releases to STG and PROD

• Oversee task prioritization, tracking, and execution on the technical side to meet project deadlines.

• Work closely with internal teams to define project scope on a technical perspective, requirements, and deliverables.

• Ensure alignment between marketing, development, and operations teams for the integrations and customizations.

• Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.

• Provide insights and recommendations to improve marketing automation and API performance.

• Education: University Degree.

• Experience: 6+ years of experience working within Marketing Automation and building trigger-based marketing campaigns. Experience connecting data from various sources into a SFMC tool.

• Languages: Advanced level of English.

• IT: Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience required. Familiarity with multi-org connector and Marketing Cloud API. Must be strong in various Marketing Cloud areas - Email Studio, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, Journey Builder, MC Connect, Audience Builder, Data Extensions, etc.

• Others: Certification as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer and/or Marketing Cloud Consultant is a plus.
