University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Management, or similar.
Minimum 4 years of previous experience in auditing.
Solid knowledge of financial and analytical accounting.
Experience in the preparation and analysis of financial statements.

The role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a solid industrial company, a leader in its sector and part of a consolidated business group, in the search for a Head of Finance to join their offices currently located in Parets del Vallés.

We are looking for a person with development potential and a global vision of the economic-financial area, who wants to take on a long-term project within a stable and growing organization. The selected person will work very closely with the current Administrative Finance Manager, actively participating in the management of the area and progressively acquiring greater responsibilities with the goal of evolving towards a leadership position within the organization.

What you'll do

Reporting to Management and accompanying the Administrative Finance Manager, you will have the opportunity to gain a transversal understanding of the company's economic-financial functioning, participating in the management and control of all key areas of the department.

Provide support in the coordination and supervision of the company's administrative, accounting, and financial processes.
Participate in the preparation of monthly accounting closings and in the preparation of economic-financial reporting for management and the parent company.
Collaborate in the preparation and monitoring of financial planning, treasury, and financing needs.
Analyze the profit and loss account and financial statements to facilitate strategic decision-making.
Participate in the management of relationships with financial institutions and other external stakeholders.
Supervise invoicing, collection, and payment processes, as well as the control of bank movements.
Collaborate in complying with the organization's tax, commercial, and legal obligations.
Provide support in the preparation of annual accounts, external audits, and coordination with external advisors and collaborators.
Participate in the management and analysis of financial risks, insurance, and customer credit.
Drive improvements in procedures, internal controls, and management tools that contribute to the efficiency and professionalization of the finance area.
