General Manager in Madrid

The new general manager's mission will be to take the company from 5 million euros in annual turnover to 10 million within a 5-year period.

• Manage the company's profit and loss account.
• Set short, medium, and long-term objectives.
• Implement actions to achieve the objectives.
• Optimization of production and work processes. Experience in industrial optimization methodologies (such as lean, six sigma, etc.).
• Identify growth opportunities in new clients.
• Maintain relationships with key clients.
• Management of prices, budgets, bids, and contracts.
• Represent the company before suppliers, banks, administrations, and other stakeholders.
• Approve significant investments in facilities, machinery, or technology.
• Define the strategy and control the main procurement processes.
• Manage production capacity and client delivery.
• Oversee inventory and balance fixed assets.

We are looking for someone with:

• Higher education degree, preferably in industrial, mechanical engineering, or business administration.
• Master's degree or equivalent qualification in business management and administration.
• 5-10 years of experience as a manager of an SME or as head of the commercial department in a medium-sized industrial company.
• Must be someone accustomed to being on the shop floor.
• Preferably with experience in the metal sector or manufacturing companies in the capital goods, aerospace, defense, or railway industries.
• It is essential to have personally led sales in an international environment.
• Must speak English and French fluently.
