The role
We are looking for a General Manager with strategic vision and executive capability to lead the growth and transformation of an industrial and technology company. Reporting to the Board of Directors, this person will be responsible for turning the business strategy into results, professionalizing the organization, and driving business development, scalability, and international growth.
What you'll do
- Define and execute the company's annual and long-term strategic plan.
- Oversee comprehensive financial management, including P&L control, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Lead and coordinate the heads of the technical, commercial, and operations departments to ensure alignment of objectives.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic alliances at both national and international levels.
- Represent the company before investors, key partners, and stakeholders in the technology and industrial sector.
- Ensure the optimization of internal processes and the implementation of best practices in business management.
- Foster a motivating work environment that attracts and retains top-tier technical talent.
Requirements
- Proven prior experience as General Manager, Managing Director, or in senior executive positions (C-Level) in industrial or technology environments.
- Higher education in Engineering, Business Administration, or similar; an MBA will be highly valued.
- Demonstrable track record in managing companies with a strong R&D and innovation component.
- Strong leadership skills, persuasive communication, and high-level negotiation ability.
- Strategic vision combined with a results-oriented mindset and operational efficiency.
- Advanced level of English and Spanish (C1/C2), with the ability to negotiate in both languages.
- Availability to work on-site and travel internationally as required by business needs.
