The role

We are looking for a Purchasing Manager for the Automotive sector in the province of Zaragoza. This position focuses on the management and optimization of purchasing processes within the industrial and manufacturing field.

What you'll do

Duties

Manage direct purchases: raw materials, components, and production consumables.
Manage indirect purchases: maintenance, services, PPE, supplies, MRO, etc.
Negotiate prices, conditions, and contracts with suppliers (in coordination with the group manager).
Search for, approve, and develop new suppliers (in coordination with the group manager).
Monitor deliveries, incidents, costs, and service levels.
Identify opportunities for savings and cost optimization.
Coordinate with Production, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and Finance.
Provide support for the urgent needs of the plants.
Participate in transversal purchasing projects and negotiations within the group.
Report KPIs and purchasing results to the Group Purchasing Manager.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Purchasing, Commerce, or similar.
3-5 years of experience in industrial purchasing, preferably automotive.
Experience in both direct and indirect purchasing.
High capacity for negotiation and supplier management.
Knowledge of costs and offer analysis.
English B2 (higher level is a plus).
Experience with ERP and good proficiency in Excel.
Availability for occasional travel.
A very autonomous, decisive profile oriented towards the factory, but with the capacity to work in a coordinated manner with the corporate structure.
