Supplier Quality and Sustainability Technician

Your work will be a key role in ensuring that Ormazabal's strategic suppliers worldwide are qualified in quality, sustainability, and financial solvency. You will do this through audits and by managing the qualification process in SAP Ariba. Additionally, you will help to continuously improve our supplier qualification and risk management system:

1. Perform qualification audits on suppliers in Spain and other countries, as an auditor or by accompanying the purchasing and quality teams from our plants. You will verify on-site their quality management, industrial capacity, and sustainability performance: environment, human and labor rights, and health and safety.

2. Manage the qualification process on the SAP Ariba platform: launch questionnaires, review and approve each supplier's documentation (ISO certificates, financial information, organizational chart...) and follow up on responses and renewals.

3. Maintain, together with the plants, the Ormazabal supplier panel up to date: the group's list of approved suppliers, classified according to their criticality to the supply chain.

4. Propose and drive improvements in the supplier qualification and risk management system, such as:

• Implement the new action plan process for high-risk suppliers: detect those who may compromise supply continuity (due to their financial situation, their dependence on Ormazabal, or the lack of alternatives), and agree upon and follow up with each plant on the measures to reduce that risk.

• Extend qualification to more suppliers.

• Streamline renewals and supplier responses on the platform.

• Automate monitoring and reporting.

1. Develop the indicators and dashboards for the qualification plan, and provide supplier sustainability qualification data to the group's sustainability report.

2. Provide support and training on the qualification process to the purchasing and quality teams of the plants and business units of Ormazabal, in Spain and in the rest of the world.

• Education: University degree (essential), for example in Engineering (Industrial Organization, Industrial Technologies, Mechanical or Chemical), Business Administration and Management, International Trade, or similar. A master's degree in purchasing and supply chain, integrated management systems, or sustainability is valued.

• Experience: Up to 2 years, including internships, in purchasing, quality, auditing or certification, or sustainability is valued. We will also value international experience (Erasmus, internships, or stays abroad).

• Complementary knowledge: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001; Sustainability in the supply chain.

• Basic knowledge of tools and programs: Excel, Power BI, SAP.

• Languages: C1 level.

• Availability to travel.
