Motor Claims Handler (Material Damage)

• At least 1-2 years of previous experience in claims handling within the auto line.
• Solid knowledge of material damage assessment and claims processes.
• Experience working with claims management providers (adjusters, workshops, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team, flexibility, and willingness to change.
• Customer orientation and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills, problem-solving, determination.
• Flexibility and an adaptive attitude.

To drive that growth, we need a Material Damage Claims Handler to join our Claims team.

This team is here for our customers when they need it most.

As part of this team, you will be on the front line of Prima, supporting customers from reporting to repair. You will help us resolve claims with empathy, expertise, and efficiency. And you will ensure that our drivers receive the clarity and peace of mind they need at every step of the process.

• Lead claims management, assessing material damage to vehicles and other property and determining the suitability of indemnities based on the affected coverages or detecting fraudulent cases.
• Collaborate closely with policyholders, providers, adjusters, and opposing parties to gather relevant information and provide timely updates on claim status and reserves.
• Lead negotiations to reach effective agreements and resolve claims efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as regulations applicable to auto claims processing.
• Identify and implement initiatives for the continuous improvement of processes, protocols, and the technological claims management platform for Prima España's claims management.
• Be in constant contact with other teams on claims-related matters - in particular with the Customer Service team (gathering information when the customer calls and sending necessary documents for the acceptance or refusal of claims) and the Pricing team (to improve underwriting processes).
