What do you need to match?

More than 2 years of experience with private clients in the banking/wealth management industry.
Solid knowledge of financial concepts, markets, current events, and the market in general.
Native proficiency in Spanish and English (fluent or native). Knowledge of other European languages is beneficial.
Ability to connect with and educate a variety of audiences.
Maintain a positive personality and empathize with clients in good times and bad.

Nice to have

We value a university degree, master's, or CFA.

We value the IMC or CISI Level 4. CISI Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) or CFA Investment Management Certificate (IMC).

The role

We are looking for a Spanish Investment Counselor for an international company of North American origin specializing in investment banking. The position is based in the company's offices in Dublin, Ireland.

As an Investment Counselor, your mission will be to manage relationships with high-net-worth clients in Spain from the Dublin office. Your ability to understand our clients' needs and educate them on the reasoning behind changes in their portfolios is crucial to your success in this role and to maintaining lasting relationships. You will report to your Team Manager, who will support you in your professional development.

What you'll do

Build lasting relationships with clients, ensuring they always receive exceptional service.
Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth client relationships, with approximately 100-150 million euros in assets.
Be the communication bridge between clients, the Investment Policy Committee, the research and trading departments, and various service teams.
Proactively update clients on changes to their portfolios, financial markets, our current market strategy, and our investment philosophy.
Obtain advanced education in finance and capital markets through our training program.
