What you'll do
You will join the Product Maintenance Engineering Department, located in Majadahonda (Madrid), participating directly in the support, analysis, and improvement of the onboard electrical and electronic systems of the Talgo fleet.
Your mission will be to guarantee the reliability, availability, and maintainability of the electrical and electronic systems of the trains in service, leading the investigation of incidents, defining corrective actions, and promoting technical improvements that contribute to the operational excellence of the product throughout its entire life cycle.
To achieve this, you will carry out functions such as:
- Investigate and lead the resolution of incidents related to onboard electrical and electronic systems, collaborating with maintenance bases, customers, operators, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Perform root cause analysis and define corrective and preventive actions aimed at improving reliability and reducing the recurrence of incidents in operation.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance documentation, diagnostic procedures, and documentation associated with product modifications and improvements.
- Manage the life cycle of equipment and components, including reliability improvement activities, obsolescence control, and technical validation of modifications or updates.
- Analyze availability, reliability, and maintainability indicators, proposing and implementing technical improvements and training maintenance and operation teams.
