Business Support Analyst - Management Control and Tenders

Experience in management control, financial analysis, and public tender management performing the following functions will be valued:

• Budgetary planning and monitoring, cost control, and deviation analysis.
• Preparation of closing forecasts, closing estimates, and management reporting.
• Preparation and submission of bids in public tenders.
• Liaison with Business Units and Management teams.

Knowledge of business analysis and management tools, as well as public procurement, such as the following, is valued:

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, Power Query).
• SAP.
• Visualization and automation tools (Power BI, Power Automate, macros/VBA or similar).
• Electronic public procurement platforms and public sector procurement regulations (Law 9/2017, on Public Sector Contracts).
• Generative AI tools applied to productivity (e.g., Microsoft Copilot).
• Fundamentals of management control: budgeting, profit and loss, costs, and profitability.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Excellent communication and liaison skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build networks with different areas.
• Rigor, attention to detail, and organizational capacity to manage deadlines and priorities.

Intermediate English level is valued, minimum B1 (spoken and written). C1 is desirable.

The main mission will be to provide support and guidance to the Business Units, ensuring the economic monitoring of the different lines of activity and the integral management of public tenders, providing information and analysis to facilitate decision-making for Management; the functions to be performed will be:

• Integral management of public tenders: preparation and submission of administrative documentation on electronic procurement platforms, deadline control, handling of requirements and corrections, and monitoring of awards.
• Coordination with the various involved areas for the collection of the documentation required in the bids and in the award proposals.
• Monitoring of the portfolio and carryover income, as well as contracting and new sales and their accrual into income, by Business Unit.
• Consolidation of carryover and new sales for the preparation of the year-end forecast and official closing estimates.
• Budgetary monitoring and cost control; preparation and analysis of monthly closings against budget and closing forecast, with qualitative analysis of deviations.
• Preparation of management reporting and dashboards for the Management team.
• Liaison between the Business Units and the Management Control area to guarantee the integration and coherence of information.
• Driving the automation and digitalization of reporting processes and the recurring tasks of the area.
