The role

🚀 Join the Polaris x Ucademy faculty of preparers

Do you master spelling, grammar, or English and know how to teach them? Prepare future Guardia Civil officers for two decisive tests. 100% remote with Polaris x Ucademy.

🚓 We are looking for Spelling, Grammar, and English Tutors for Guardia Civil

In the Guardia Civil competitive exams (Corporal and Guard Scale), there are two tests where many candidates are eliminated without getting to demonstrate what they know from the syllabus:

✍️ Spelling and grammar
Detecting misspelled words and grammatically incorrect sentences. This is eliminatory: with 6 or more errors in either of the two exercises, the candidate is removed from the process.

🇬🇧 English
A 20-question test on grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension, at an A2-B1 level (compatible with ESO). It requires a minimum score and also adds to the final score.

We are looking for tutors capable of turning these two tests into guaranteed points.

🎯 We are looking for specialists in one or both tests

  • Spelling and grammar: spelling rules, accentuation, homophones, agreement, use of prepositions, and error detection in sentences.

  • English A2-B1: verb tenses, grammatical structures, frequent vocabulary and reading comprehension, oriented to the test format of the exam.

We especially value anyone who can prepare both. If you only master one, we still want to hear from you.

🌟 Who we are

At Polaris x Ucademy, we prepare for exams in a more digital, practical, and personalized way. We have already accompanied thousands of candidates and we have a clear goal: for 10,000 people to secure their position by preparing with us.

To achieve this, we are expanding our high-performance faculty of preparers.

We are very digital, but the human element is non-negotiable. Technology helps us teach better, and it is our preparers who provide knowledge, judgment, closeness, and support.

🔎 Who we are looking for

  • Guardia Civil exam preparation tutors with experience in spelling, grammar or English.

  • Spanish Language or English teachers (secondary school, academies, official language schools...) with an interest in civil service exams.

  • Philologists or text proofreading professionals who know how to teach.

  • Guardia Civil officers who have passed these exams and know how to explain them.

  • People capable of teaching tricks and methods, not just rules: how to spot the error quickly and how not to fall into the test's traps.

  • Fluency with digital tools. If you already use AI in your daily life, even better.

🎯 How you can collaborate

Depending on your profile and availability, you may participate in one or several projects:

  • Online classes in spelling, grammar or English oriented to the exam.

  • Exercise batteries in the real format of each test.

  • Timed mock exams and their correction.

  • Analysis of common mistakes and guides with rules and tricks.

  • Short videos and capsules to review key concepts.

  • Student follow-up: resolving doubts and helping them progress.

🤝 How the collaboration works

This is not a full-time or part-time job. You will collaborate with Polaris x Ucademy through the provision of services in specific educational projects, compatible with your professional activity.

If you have a permanent teaching position or work as a teacher, we are not asking you to leave your job. We want you to put your experience at the service of exam candidates in a flexible way.

🌍 100% remote
🕐 Schedules and availability to be agreed upon
📚 Projects and deliverables defined from the start
💰 Competitive compensation depending on the project and deliverables

Hiring process

We want to get to know you by teaching, not just by reading your CV. The process has three steps:

1. Profile review. In your application you will answer a few brief questions and send us a 1-minute introduction video. Record it on your phone, no complications: tell us who you are, your experience, and which test or tests you could prepare candidates for.

2. Validation contact. If your profile fits, we will contact you by call or in writing to resolve doubts, learn about your availability, and explain how we collaborate.

3. Trial class and interview. You will schedule your interview and, before the date, send us a recorded class of up to 5 minutes: an explanation of a spelling or grammar rule, or an English grammar point, solving some questions in the exam format, with supporting material created by you. We are not looking for a perfect production: we want to see how you explain things and how you make the difficult simple.

If you know how to make spelling and English stop being an obstacle, we want to meet you.
