Hospital Purchasing Manager VALENCIA

Plan, organize, coordinate, manage, execute, and control the purchasing of materials and/or healthcare services (medical supplies) and non-healthcare services (stationery, printing, etc.) that are not the responsibility of the Pharmacy service, in accordance with the internal control standards, policies, provisions, and procedures established for the Hospital.

1. Manage the corresponding warehouse. Control stock and supervise material quantities, reviewing the available units in the warehouse for each of the materials.
2. Control material rotation and expiration dates. Report supplies with no movement or those nearing expiration.
3. Prepare orders to suppliers, and coordinate order reception and the distribution of materials to the various units.
4. Supervise purchasing processes in order to comply with VO procedures and the guidelines for approved suppliers from PS+.
5. Request quotes and seek the best available prices among approved suppliers from the Corporate Purchasing area.
6. Follow up on assigned purchasing processes, and prepare purchasing and accounting reports.
7. Control all documentation related to the purchasing process. Manage receipts and delivery notes.
8. Perform the monitoring and review of expenses to ensure they are correct.
9. Manage incidents arising from purchasing management: returns to suppliers, material replenishment management, shortages, etc.
