Requirements

What we're looking for

• University degree in life sciences, pharmacy, engineering, computer science, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in computerized system validation (CSV) in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device environments.

• Solid knowledge of GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11, and data integrity guidelines.

• Demonstrable experience in writing and executing validation documentation for GxP systems (e.g., LIMS, MES, ERP/SAP, QMS, EDMS, or laboratory systems).

• Fluent professional level of English (both written and spoken), as the client team and documentation are in English.

• Residence in Spain with a work permit, and availability to work from 8:00 to 17:00. Desirable requirements

• Previous experience in consulting or in projects involving direct client contact.

We are looking for a Process Engineer (PHARMA) to expand one of our pharmaceutical teams in Madrid.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute the validation lifecycle of GxP computerized systems, following a risk-based approach (GAMP 5 principles and *Computer Software Assurance*).

• Prepare and review validation deliverables: validation plans, user and functional requirements, risk assessments, traceability matrices, IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, test scripts, deviation reports, and validation summary reports.

• Execute test scripts and record results in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.

• Perform risk assessments of systems and define the appropriate level of testing for each.

• Evaluate and qualify suppliers (including cloud/SaaS service providers) and review their documentation.

• Apply data integrity principles (ALCOA+) in the design, testing, and documentation of systems.

• Support change control, periodic reviews, commissioning, and decommissioning of validated systems.

• Evaluate compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and EU GMP Annex 11 regulations, including matters relating to electronic records and signatures.

• Support audits and preparation for inspections, as well as collaborate in the closure of audit findings.

• Collaborate with QA (Quality Assurance), IT departments, system owners, and suppliers; report progress and risks to the project manager.
