We are looking for an IT Support Technician to expand one of our teams in Barcelona.

What you'll do

As an IT Support Technician, your main responsibilities will include:

Technical support to PAS users (Administration and Services Staff) in computer classrooms and offices.
Installation and configuration of computer equipment, both hardware and software.
Management and resolution of incidents through the ticketing system, using tools such as Jira.
Diagnosis and solution of problems related to Windows, Linux, and macOS (Apple) operating systems.
Preventive and corrective maintenance of computer equipment to ensure its optimal functioning.
Collaboration with other IT teams for the implementation of new solutions and the continuous improvement of services.
Documentation of procedures and solutions for the internal knowledge base.
Advice and support to users in the use of corporate applications and tools.
Participation in IT infrastructure deployment and update projects.
Monitoring of systems and networks for the early detection of possible problems.

Requirements

We are looking for a person with a service orientation, incident resolution capacity, and communication skills, accustomed to working in educational environments and with direct user interaction.

Part-time employment of 20 hours per week during the usual period, with a reduction to 12 hours per week during the summer months. 100% on-site work modality.

Valuable knowledge

Windows and Apple operating systems, and Microsoft 365 environment.
Remote support and inventory tools.
Videoconferencing platforms and hybrid classrooms.
Configuration of audiovisual devices.
Basic networks and connectivity.
Knowledge of ticketing, Jira, or similar.
Previous experience in universities or educational centers.
