Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Experience running a business, not just operating it: 7+ years leading a business unit, country, franchise, or P&L, with real accountability for results, not just execution.
  • Ability to build from scratch: a proven track record of setting up structures, teams, and processes in the early stages of a business or unit.
  • Skill in building complex networks: experience generating and sustaining high-level strategic relationships with multiple partners or external stakeholders.
  • Financial business acumen: the ability to read a P&L and translate it into concrete decisions and levers for profitability.
  • Leadership of senior profiles: experience directing and empowering specialists or functional leaders, delegating execution while focusing on strategic direction.
  • High-level stakeholder management: excellence in negotiation and influence, both internally and externally.
  • Growth mindset: a mentality focused on scaling the business aggressively but sustainably, leveraging technology, automation, and AI as levers to grow without losing efficiency.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in mobility, transportation, or logistics is valued; education or a career path in top-tier companies or consulting firms is a plus that reinforces analytical rigor, not an exclusionary filter.

The role

Do you want to change the world? That is what we do at Cabify. Our goal is to make cities better places to live, improving the mobility of the people who live in them, connecting passengers and drivers with just the push of a button. It is possible that one day cities will be places where nobody needs a private car, but we still have a long way to go... will you join us?

To drive this transformation, we are looking for someone to lead our new vertical, the person who will manage the external fleet ecosystem in Spain as if it were their own business within Cabify. They will manage a P&L that we aim to exceed €500 M in annual revenue within the next two years. Given the strategic nature of this position, they will interact regularly with the company's CEO and report directly to the head of European operations, acting as their right hand in this unit. They will have real decision-making autonomy over strategy, structure, and results.

Our ambition is not only to contribute to the development and optimization of partner fleets, but also to build the leading operational and technological ecosystem for mobility operators in Spain.

What you'll do

  • Team Transformation: Build, mentor, and scale a hybrid team (commercial and operations), evolving their role from "transactional managers" to true business partners for our partners.
  • Building a Strategic Partner Network: Identify, negotiate, and consolidate long-term relationships with high-potential fleet operators across the territory, raising the industry standard.
  • Transforming the Relationship Model: Turn fleet operators from transactional suppliers into strategic marketplace partners, with incentives and agreements designed for the long term.
  • Driving Business Modernization: Rely on your operations and commercial contacts to identify improvement opportunities, and lead the adoption of technology and automation that make Cabify the most agile partner in the market.
