The role
You will join Kālida's Fundraising and Communication team to contribute decisively to the economic sustainability of the Foundation and the Kālida Sant Pau center, as well as to achieve the ambitious goal of securing the necessary funds to build and launch the second Kālida Center, next to the Hospital General de Granollers, which will benefit nearly 2,000 people every year once fully operational.
You will have a key objective: contribute to the economic sustainability of the entity and help make its growth, expansion, and social impact possible.
Your work will be fundamental to consolidate the activity of the Kālida Sant Pau center and drive the collection of the resources necessary for the construction, opening, and development of the future Kālida Granollers center, as well as for expansion to other hospitals, allowing more and more people living with cancer to access this integral accompaniment model and contributing to achieving the challenge of our capital campaign "Construimos esperanza" (We build hope).
What you'll do
Among your main functions will be:
With the support of the Fundraising and Communication Management and the Foundation's Management, you will design the strategies and tactics to identify, cultivate, secure, and build loyalty in relationships with Major Donors, Foundations, and Companies (Leadership Giving) necessary to expand the Foundation's social impact capacity.
You will execute and evaluate the integral fundraising strategy for Major Donors, Foundations, and Companies (Leadership Giving), with the goal of reaching the income necessary to guarantee the sustainable development of the Foundation's care mission, improve brand awareness and recognition, and allow for its expansion.
You will coordinate the different activities for the acquisition, development, and loyalty of Major Donors, Foundations, and Companies (Leadership Giving) to achieve the assigned objectives.
You will identify and formulate proposals for awards and calls from private companies that fit with Kālida and will perform the corresponding follow-up, in accordance with the call calendar approved by the Area Management.
You will be responsible for the formalization of collaboration agreements with Major Donors, Foundations, and Companies (Leadership Giving) and will review, together with the Internal Management and Finance Area, the correct allocation of funds to projects and the registration of information in the CRM.
You will assume tasks derived from the organization and planning of events, promoted by the Foundation itself or by Foundation allies, aimed at fundraising. Additionally, you will explore and present innovative proposals for new formats of events, solidarity initiatives, and gatherings.
You will contribute to the design and development of new fundraising initiatives in coordination with the Area Management and will be responsible for monitoring the different fundraising actions carried out, preparing periodic reports and ensuring the fulfillment of established objectives.
You will effectively manage online and offline tools and resources related to the collection and registration of user data, leads, potential donors, and active donors, both recurring and one-off, ensuring the correct management and maintenance of proprietary databases and compliance with LOPD, GDPR, and other legal requirements derived from laws, standards, and regulations regarding data protection and digital rights.
You will be in charge of representing and promoting the Foundation in spaces, forums, meetings, conferences, or events related to your area of responsibility that may contribute to fundraising or the dissemination of the entity's mission.

What is Fundación Kālida?
The Kālida Foundation promotes a comprehensive psychosocial care model for people with cancer, their families and caregivers, centred on the person.
Its aim is to create centres that make it possible to support people living with cancer, located just a few metres from the Oncology Departments of the public reference hospitals for cancer treatments, with spaces specially designed to welcome and accompany those who need them, both patients and their relatives, friends or caregivers.
This service, which aims to complement hospital medical treatments, is free of charge for those who visit us thanks to the generosity of individuals and organizations, and requires no prior appointment. It is inspired by the renowned psychosocial care model of the Maggie's organization, forming part of its international network of more than 30 centers.
The first operational center was Kālida Sant Pau, which opened its doors in May 2019 next to the Hospital de Sant Pau in Barcelona and, since then, has handled more than 60,000 visits representing nearly 15,000 unique users. Currently, Kālida is working on its expansion plan and the construction and opening of its next new center next to the Hospital General de Granollers.
