The role

We are looking for a Sales Project Manager (Construction) for one of our business units, Aceros Para La Construcción (Celsa Steel Service) , to manage the Northwest Zone of the Iberian Peninsula.

What you'll do

  • Hiring of New Projects within established margins and volume.
  • Control and management of the Project with External/Internal CLIENTS.
  • Monthly certification of each of the Assigned Projects.
  • Increase Project profitability.
  • Define strategies for the short and long-term control and profitability of the Project.
  • Verify the adequacy and reasonableness of the deadlines for the different project milestones to be executed and determine the timing of the resources necessary to achieve the agreed milestones.
  • Analyze deviations in Projects compared to those forecast, proposing corrective measures through the use of improvement tools.
  • Quoting for new project tenders.
  • Conducting follow-up meetings for assigned Projects with the CLIENT and conveying the information to the rest of the organization involved.
  • Preparation of Reports for monitoring Commercial activity.
  • Preparation of Claims to the CLIENT for deviations caused.
  • Extend and participate in activities oriented towards continuous improvement.
  • Project monitoring.
  • Design and plan projects and/or technical solutions, interconnecting requirements from different internal departments. Analysis of technical and economic feasibility.
  • Monitoring of implemented projects/technical solutions to resolve deviations.
