The role
🔔 We are offering a position as a Pool Concierge to work at El Fuerte Marbella, the first hotel founded by the company. It opened its doors in 1957 and, after a complete renovation, reopened in 2023 as a 5* hotel.
El Fuerte Marbella, located on the beachfront in the center of Marbella, offers impressive sea views along the promenade and the Mediterranean, and is just a 5-minute walk from Plaza de los Naranjos. What you'll do
You will be responsible for guest management and service in the solarium and pool areas.
Your day-to-day will look like this…
- Ensuring the achievement of the established departmental goals, as well as compliance with critical processes and area operations, in accordance with the hotel's standards.
- Perform the daily preparation of the towel corner, replenishment, and arrangement according to the setting manual.
- Carry out the management of sunbed stock according to the layout, performing continuous monitoring and preventing customer reservations.
- Perform customer welcomes during established hours, opening umbrellas, and placing towels.
- Accommodate the customer, provide information regarding the “press and go” service, and manage bar orders if necessary.
- Receive customer complaints, suggestions, and/or special needs and relay them to your immediate superior.
- Offer the different hotel services, contributing to sales and customer satisfaction, and manage customer reservations.
- Request and collect customer feedback regarding service and attention, as well as their satisfaction.
- Manage the “Gone for lunch” signage, using the service to promote reservations at the internal restaurants.
- Provide the customer with all information regarding the services and/or particularities available at the hotel.
- Perform towel collection at the end of the service, leaving the corner and the solarium in perfect condition.
