About the role

Your role:

As Strategic Alliances Manager – Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East and Intermodality, you will be responsible for defining and executing Iberia's alliance strategy in the international markets of Europe (excluding IAG partners), Asia, Africa and the Middle East, leading the development of strategic relationships with airlines, mobility partners and other strategic partners that contribute to the growth of Iberia's network and business.

You will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, negotiating and launching new strategic agreements, being one of the main drivers of Iberia's future growth through international alliances and collaborations. You will be responsible for turning market opportunities into concrete agreements that generate new revenue streams, improve network connectivity and strengthen Iberia's value proposition for its customers.

Your challenges:

Strategy and Development of New Partnerships

  • Define and execute Iberia's international alliance development strategy in Europe (excluding IAG partners), Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
  • Identify, evaluate and develop new collaboration opportunities with airlines, rail operators and other mobility partners.
  • Lead negotiation, design and launch processes for new strategic agreements that contribute to the growth of Iberia's network, connectivity and revenue.

  • Drive new commercial, connectivity, loyalty, distribution and customer experience initiatives together with strategic partners.
  • Oversee the monitoring of alliance performance through KPIs, traffic analysis, revenue, connectivity and contribution to the network.
  • Coordinate with the specialist responsible for Oneworld to ensure the proper execution of alliance initiatives and alignment with Iberia's strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate with the different airlines and corporate areas of IAG the management of shared strategic partners and the development of new collaboration opportunities.
  • Identify and promote synergies between Iberia and the rest of the IAG Group companies in the field of strategic alliances, commercial agreements and connectivity initiatives.
  • Ensure the alignment of Iberia's partnership strategy with the strategic priorities and objectives of the IAG Group.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for strategic alliances, international partnerships, Oneworld and intermodality.

Your knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, International Relations or similar.
