Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking to hire a Key Account Manager After Sales to carry out the promotion and sale of products (power converters, motors and generators, and automation and control solutions) and services that Ingeteam can offer in the after-sales market for the Marine, Mining, and Industry sectors. The role will involve developing, implementing, and executing a specific commercial plan for each market to increase sales with both existing and new customers.

What you'll do

  • Lead business development and commercial action focused on the after-sales market in the target sectors of Marine, Mining, and Industry.

  • Develop the specific commercial plan for each sector, including sales targets and forecasts.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of the overall commercial plan for the Sector and its Business Units (BUs).

  • Coordinate with the Commercial Directors of the BUs and their teams to analyze market trends.

  • Strengthen relationships with strategic customers, as well as acquire new accounts, with a special focus on shipowners, fleet managers, and mining companies.

  • Identify, support, and gain influence with key people within customer organizations.

  • Identify major retrofit opportunities for both Ingeteam's own fleet and those of other manufacturers.

  • Identify opportunities and lead the negotiation of SLA (Service Level Agreement) contracts.

  • Lead the entire sales cycle, starting with opportunity identification, followed by the preparation of the commercial proposal, and ending with negotiation through to order confirmation.

  • Collaborate with the BU teams to identify internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external threats and opportunities.

  • Work with product development and project teams to offer proposals aligned with customer requirements.

  • Gather business intelligence on competitor products and strategies.

  • Participate in periodic meetings with the commercial departments of the BUs, reporting monthly on closures and forecasts.

  • Represent Ingeteam at trade fairs, events, and conferences.

Minimum requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in roles with responsibility for sales and/or business development of power converters, motors and generators, and automation and control solutions for the target sectors.

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • English at a negotiation level, minimum C1. Other languages will be valued.

  • Strong negotiation skills for major opportunities.

  • Ability to work in a multifunctional context with remote/distributed teams.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Proficiency in technical consulting and identifying commercial opportunities.
