The role

Are you looking for a new challenge?

Would you like to help us shape the future of car insurance?

Prima could be the ideal place for you.

Since 2015, we have been using our passion for data and technology to reinvent car insurance and offer drivers an excellent experience at a competitive price. Our story began in Italy, where we quickly became the number one provider of online car insurance. In fact, more than 5 million drivers trust us, and we are now expanding to help millions more drivers in the UK and Spain.

To drive that growth, we need a CICOS Handler to join our Claims team.

This team is here for our customers when they need it most.

As part of this team, you will be on the front line of Prima, supporting customers from reporting to repair. You will help us resolve claims with empathy, expertise, and efficiency. And you will ensure that our drivers receive the clarity and peace of mind they need at every step of the process.

What you'll do

  • Manage CICOS claims by accepting/rejecting cases as appropriate, responding to claims within established deadlines to minimize penalties, initiating claims to maximize acceptances, and ensuring that the total balance is as favorable as possible for the company.
  • Assessment of material damage to vehicles involving surveyors and other experts as necessary to determine the suitability of indemnities based on the affected coverages or to detect fraudulent cases.
  • Collaborate closely with policyholders, providers, and opposing parties to gather relevant information and provide timely updates on the status and reserves of claims.
  • Lead negotiations to reach effective agreements and resolve claims efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as regulations applicable to auto claims processing.
  • Identify and implement initiatives for the continuous improvement of processes, protocols, and the technological claims management platform for Prima España's claims management.
  • Be in constant contact with other teams regarding claim-related matters, particularly with the Customer Service team (gathering information when the customer calls and sending necessary documents for the acceptance or refusal of claims) and the Pricing team (to improve underwriting processes).
