What we're looking for

Experience in leadership and management of multidisciplinary technical and functional support teams for enterprise applications.
Experience in technical and functional communication with clients, with the ability to manage critical incidents and communicate solutions clearly and effectively.
Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) tools and regulations, as well as the functioning of the banking and insurance sectors.
Experience in incident management and information extraction using ticketing tools, especially Jira ServiceDesk.
At least 2 years of experience in diagnosing Java environments, including exception analysis, connectivity errors, and problems related to database connections.
At least 2 years of experience working with Linux/Unix systems, using advanced commands to locate, filter, and analyze logs, as well as managing files and permissions.
Solid knowledge of relational databases, including syntax differences between engines and understanding connection mechanisms, drivers, and connection pools.
Ability to investigate incidents from end to end, identify root causes, and manage high-pressure situations or service unavailability.

Nice to have

At least 2 years of experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, performing complex SQL queries, subqueries, and information analysis.
Experience in database performance analysis, detection of locks, inefficient queries, and bottlenecks.
Knowledge of scripting and task automation in Linux/Unix systems.
Knowledge of application development with Java and Spring, preferably with 2 years of experience.
Experience or knowledge of Cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, especially in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
High level of English.

The role

At AVOS Tech, a company within the Prosegur Group, we are looking for a Technical and Functional Support Team Leader to lead the team responsible for managing and resolving incidents for our AMLCheck solution, which specializes in Anti-Money Laundering (AML).

We are looking for a profile with experience in coordinating enterprise application support teams, technical analysis capacity, and knowledge of Java, Linux, and database environments. The position combines operational leadership, complex incident resolution, and communication with clients in the banking and insurance sectors.

What you'll do

Lead and coordinate the AMLCheck technical and functional support team, organizing the distribution of incidents, inquiries, and requests received.
Prioritize and supervise incident resolution, ensuring compliance with established deadlines and service levels.
Analyze and diagnose complex technical incidents, identifying their origin across the different layers of the architecture: frontend, backend, infrastructure, and databases.
Coordinate problem resolution with the development, implementation, and infrastructure teams, facilitating the follow-up of necessary actions.
Act as a technical and functional interlocutor with clients, managing inquiries, escalations, and critical service situations.
Supervise ticket management through Jira Service Management (ServiceDesk), performing incident follow-up and preparing operational reports.
Drive continuous service improvement and the professional development of the team, identifying training needs and optimization opportunities.
