About the role

We are looking for a Technical Support Technician for the Official Dealer Network to join one of the teams that the Mobility & Transportation unit has deployed at one of our main clients, a leading manufacturer in the automotive sector located in the Martorell area.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing first and third level technical support to the brand's official dealers regarding vehicle electronics-related faults, analyzing and resolving incidents that come in through the client's ticketing system (ODIS). It is important to note that the work is not performed physically on the vehicle, but rather on the incident itself: the work is carried out entirely from a computer.

At BETWEEN, we are committed to the best talent in the engineering field. We currently have a team of over 1,400 people. We are involved in a wide variety of cutting-edge projects, working with the most innovative clients in the R&D&I, automotive, pharma, machine design, product development, and other sectors.

In our technical office, we offer services according to the needs of each client, as at BETWEEN we can be responsible for all development tasks related to the life cycle of your product.

What you'll do

  • You will provide first and third level technical support to the brand's official dealer network, focusing on vehicle electronics-related faults.
  • You will receive and manage incidents through the client's ticketing system (ODIS), always working on the documented incident rather than the physical vehicle.
  • You will analyze reported faults and propose solutions and repair guidelines to the network's mechanics and electricians who are unable to resolve the case.
  • You will provide technical advice on repair processes through the communication systems implemented by the client.
  • You will participate in investigations of complex cases that the official dealer network cannot resolve, escalating and documenting findings.
  • You will attend new product launch meetings to subsequently provide technical advice to the dealers.
  • You will propose improvements to repair processes for implementation across the official dealer network.

Benefits you will enjoy at your workplace

  • Permanent contract with BETWEEN.
  • Full-time position with office hours, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Hybrid model: 2 days of remote work per week and 3 days at the client's facilities, once the training period has been completed.

Additionally, working for BETWEEN you will enjoy the following added benefits:

  • Health insurance included for being a Betweener.
  • You will have free access to BETWEEN University, where you can receive training in technical skills, languages, and business skills.
  • Opportunity to be part of a growing company nationally and internationally.
  • A great place to work: we care for our team and society through initiatives, work-life balance programs, and corporate social responsibility.
  • You will join a high-performance team with a high degree of specialization.
  • You will have access to training and professional development opportunities.
  • We will provide you with a wide range of challenges and projects aligned with your personal and professional goals.
  • Option to choose how to receive part of your salary thanks to our Flexible Remuneration benefits, including discounts at fitness centers, among others.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Vocational Training (CFGM or CFGS) in Automotive, Vehicle Electromechanics, Electricity/Electronics, or similar qualifications.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electromechanical or automotive electrician technician in the sector.
  • Real experience in electrical and electronic fault diagnosis: interpreting electrical diagrams, using multimeters and oscilloscopes, checking grounds, and analyzing vehicle communication networks.
  • Proficient computer skills, as 100% of the work is performed from a computer, working on the incident rather than the vehicle.
  • Residence in the Martorell area or surrounding areas, or genuine availability to commute 3 days a week.

Valuable:

  • Previous experience in technical support, front-office, hotline, or dealer network assistance.
  • Knowledge of the ODIS system or other diagnostic and ticketing platforms used by manufacturers.
  • Experience with official brand dealers versus multi-brand workshops.
  • Knowledge of advanced electronics systems: ADAS, comfort, infotainment, engine management, or high-voltage systems in electrified vehicles.
  • Ability to write clear technical documentation for diagnoses and solutions.
  • English level that allows you to consult technical documentation.

At BETWEEN, equal opportunities is one of our core values. We are committed to hiring the best talent regardless of race, religion, sex, age, or disability, and to promoting their professional and personal development.
