What we're looking for

Degree in Computer Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience in the implementation of MES/MOM solutions and advanced knowledge of Siemens Opcenter. Experience with Camstar will be valued.

Experience in defining architectures and integrating MES solutions with ERP, industrial automation systems, and other applications.

Knowledge of programming, especially C#, databases, and SQL, applied to industrial solutions.

Experience in version management, deployments, and testing in development, validation, and production environments.

Ability to provide technical leadership to the team, resolve complex problems, and explain technical decisions to clients and collaborators.

Knowledge of agile methodologies and version tracking and control tools, such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalents.

Description:

We are looking for a Technical Lead specializing in Siemens Opcenter to join the Digitalization department. The selected person will be the technical reference for the MES team and will lead the definition and supervision of MES/MOM solutions, ensuring their viability, quality, and suitability to client needs.

What you'll do

They will work in coordination with Project Managers, Pre-sales, and the technical team, participating from the initial analysis to the commissioning of the solutions.

Define and supervise MES/MOM technical solutions, ensuring their viability and suitability to client requirements.

Participate in the initial functional analysis of projects, specifying requirements and anticipating the necessary technical decisions before starting development.

Define the architecture, technical criteria, and the integration approach with ERP, industrial automation systems, and other applications.

Prioritize Opcenter's standard functionality and evaluate the need, scope, and impact of custom developments.

Provide technical leadership to the MES team, guiding technicians, reviewing their proposals, and supporting them in resolving complex problems.

Technically validate offers and proposals intended for clients, in coordination with Pre-sales, before their presentation.

Supervise configuration, development, integration, testing, and commissioning, ensuring the quality of the deliverables.

Collaborate during sprints, providing technical criteria to approach tasks and resolve dependencies between projects.

Act as a technical reference for clients, partners, and internal teams, and drive improvements in the solutions and development practices of the MES area.
