Requirements

What we're looking for

Advanced university education in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, along with at least 4 years of relevant professional experience; or a bachelor's degree in a related area along with at least 6 years of relevant professional experience.
At least 3 years of experience using and developing on ServiceNow.
Experience in development with Business Rules, Glide, scripting, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and ACLs.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB.
Hands-on experience with ITOM, especially Discovery and/or Service Mapping.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with the CSDM Framework.
Implementation experience in several ServiceNow platform applications, such as CMDB, Discovery, ITAM, ITSM, or ITOM.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure: servers, networks, AWS/Azure cloud environments, and applications.
Solid ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, trends, and errors, and execute remediation actions.
Experience designing and developing solutions on PaaS platforms such as ServiceNow.
Experience working in Agile Software Development environments.
Experience configuring and maintaining MID Server.
Experience with Service Portal UI design and configuration.
Experience leading requirement-gathering workshops and explaining platform capabilities to technical and non-technical profiles.
Excellent documentation, communication, diagramming, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision, and in fast-paced environments.
Good understanding of organizational change management and communication.
Advanced level of English.
Fluent Spanish.

The role

ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM Analyst

At Vortech PCI Group, we are looking to hire a ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM Analyst to participate in an international project within an enterprise environment.

The selected person will work on the evolution, governance, and improvement of the CMDB in ServiceNow, ensuring the quality, integrity, and maturity of configuration data, as well as its correct alignment with the CSDM - Common Service Data Model.

We are looking for a profile with technical experience in ServiceNow, capable of combining functional knowledge of CMDB/CSDM, platform configuration, development, integrations, and communication with technical teams and business stakeholders.

What you'll do

Maintain and improve the quality, accuracy, and integrity of the CMDB in ServiceNow.
Implement and ensure alignment with CSDM standards for Business Applications, Application Services, Business Services, and Technical Services.
Define and maintain classes, attributes, naming conventions, relationships, and the lifecycle of Configuration Items.
Review CMDB Health Dashboards to detect and correct duplicate, orphaned, obsolete, or low-quality CIs.
Manage and support Discovery, Service Mapping, and data ingestion processes from third-party tools.
Configure, maintain, and support MID Servers.
Collaborate with IT teams to align Configuration Management with Incident, Change, Asset, and Problem Management processes.
Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow solutions according to business needs.
Develop and maintain Business Rules, UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, scripts, and Glide-based logic.
Design and develop workflows and integrations in ServiceNow.
Participate in integrations via REST APIs, Import Sets, Data Sources, and other data exchange mechanisms.
Analyze large volumes of data, identify trends, detect errors, and propose remediation actions.
Work in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in the full development cycle: requirements, design, testing, deployment, and documentation.
Lead or participate in workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and explain platform capabilities in clear language.
Prepare technical and functional documentation, including diagrams, data dictionaries, data flows, and CSDM modeling documentation.
Evaluate the impact of platform changes and collaborate with development teams to minimize technical debt.
Work autonomously in a dynamic and high-demand environment.
