About the role

Important Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Company needs to hire, in Tarragona, a Global Retail Commercial Director.

The Global Retail Commercial Director will be responsible for designing, supervising, and leading the management and strategy of promotion, sales, and
distribution activities for the entire range of products and brands of the company, providing the commercial teams of the different subsidiaries with all the necessary tools for the development of their commercial functions. They will also be responsible for defining the sales strategy and proposing the necessary adaptations to products and services for their commercialization in the target local markets, whether at the Export or Subsidiary level.

- Manage and implement policies established by senior management.
- Coordinate the different areas and streamline processes for liaising with head office departments.

- University degree, preferably in Business Administration and Management, Business Studies, or Economics. Specific training in export (international markets) and marketing will be valued. Proven experience of at least five years in a similar position in the Food and commodities sector, FMCG, as well as in international trade.
- English at a negotiation level. Other languages such as French will be valued.
- Frequent travel nationally and internationally (global coverage).
